Engineers of MRT Corp, together with those from MMC-Gamuda successfully conducted at a Factory Acceptance Test at Herrenknecht AG, the manufacturer of the TBM, at Schawanau, Germany.

A simple ceremony was held on 22 November 2012 to mark this milestone. The event was witnessed by representatives from MRT Corp, MMC-Gamuda and Herrenknect AG and was covered by Malaysian media.
