Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) has officially handed over two replacement blocks, the Vehicle Unit Block and the Public Health Unit Block to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) management on 21 December 2022, in a ceremony held at the new Public Health Unit Block located next to the National Heart Institute, Kuala Lumpur.
MRT Corp recently celebrated World Quality Day 2022 on 10 November 2022 at the KVMRT Training Centre in Sungai Buloh, in its fourth year since its inception. The event was organised to encourage employees involved in the delivery of the Klang Valley MRT Project and the RTS Link Project to participate in quality programs, and to enhance the implementation of good quality practice in project construction.

19 Civil Engineering students from Monash University Malaysia visited the Sentul Barat MRT Station on 26 September 2022 as part of a study trip to the Klang Valley to learn more about the rail and public infrastructure, particularly on the concepts and processes used in the MRT Putrajaya (PY) Line, and demonstrate real-world solutions to the students.

The inaugural Rail Technology Expo (RTX) 2022, the first rail technology exhibition by the Ministry of Transport, was held from 11 – 14 August 2022, strategically at KL Sentral. RTX 2022 was organised with the aim of increasing the capacity and capabilities of local rail-related companies while encouraging the public to optimise public transport.
