On 26 July 2022, Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) welcomed delegates from the Institution of Civil Engineer (ICE), led by its United Kingdom President, Mr. Ed McCann, to the MRT Project.

The eight-person delegation, which included members from the ICE Malaysian Chapter, was received by MRT Corp Putrajaya (PY) Line Manager, Ts. Noor Aiman Samsudin, together with the project’s Turnkey Contractor, MMC-Gamuda KVMRT (PDP SSP) Sdn Bhd PY Line Project Director, Encik Adil Putra Ahmad at the Sentul Barat MRT Station site.

The visit began with a welcome remark by Encik Adil and continued with a presentation by MMC-Gamuda representatives on PY Line construction challenges and mitigation measures.

The delegation then proceeded with a site tour of the underground station including the platform and concourse areas.

Ts. Noor Aiman then presented a memento to Mr. Ed as a token of appreciation with the visit ending right after.
