Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (MRT Corp) is committed to cultivating and attracting the public, especially young people, to use public transportation particularly rail transport. As part of this commitment, a two-day awareness campaign was conducted at SRJK(C) Jalan Davidson, Kuala Lumpur, to educate students on the importance of an effective urban rail transportation system.
The target group were students from Year 4 to Year 6, on the premise that young people are more open to new ideas. The main objective of the campaign was to raise awareness among students about the impact of their mobility behaviour and the benefits of using public transport. The students were informed about the opportunities offered, with the aim of changing their current mobility behaviour and having a larger, long-term impact on their mobility behaviour in the future.
