MASS Rapid Transit Corporation (MRT Corp) hosted 29 students from Indonesia on 12 April 2016 to the MRT Project Information Centre in Damansara Utama.
The visit by Indonesian students from the Universiti of Muhammadiyah were led by two of their lecturers. The students were individuals from different year levels of whom were pursuing their Civil Engineering Degree whilst majoring in Design.
The visit started at 2.00pm with an introduction to the MRT Project that was presented by MRT Corp Deputy General Manager, Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Relations Mr Leong Shen-Li.
During the presentation, in addition to information regarding the Project, the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang alignment map and construction videos were shown to the students for them to understand the various aspects of the Project.
The students were intrigued with the project and asked various questions to gain clarification and further understanding of the Project.
Light refreshments were then served after the presentation.
