THE elevated pedestrian link bridge between the Taman Mutiara MRT Station of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line and the Cheras Leisure Mall is now open.
The opening of the 65m link was marked by a ceremony on Friday, 26 January 2018.
The link was opened by PBB Group Managing Director Mr Lim Soon Huat and his Chief Operating Officer Mr Chew Hwei Yeow. The PBB Group is the owner of the mall.
Representing Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd at the event was its Acting Chief Executive Officer Tuan Haji Muhammad Isom Azis while Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Relations General Manager Mr Leong Shen-li represented Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd.
Also present were celebrities Ms Amber Chia and Ms Nina Kho, radio DJ Mr Liang Kim Loong and social media influencer Baby Akiyo.
During the event, PBB Group also opened the newest section of the mall which offered new food and beverage as well as other retail outlets.
The pedestrian link bridge connects to Entrance B of the Taman Mutiara Station. It is fully air-conditioned and was designed for universal access
