A virtual academic visit for UiTM Shah Alam was hosted by Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) on 29 July 2022.

The visit was attended by 20 Master of Science in Facilities Management students and their lecturer Dr. Mohd Zulakhmar Zakiyudin, with the objective to gain knowledge on operating the risk management department in a real-life situation.

Conducted via the Zoom platform, the visit started with a welcome note delivered by MRT Corp Risk Management Senior Manager Puan Fazila Kamarudin and continued with a presentation by Risk Management Assistant Manager Mohd Izwan Hamdan on the risk management organisation within MRT Corp.

Among the topics covered were the risk management process and its workflow including the risk analysis and the software, the ISO 31000 standardisation management and the challenges of risk management implementation within the organisation.

The virtual academic visit ended with a Q&A session.
