MASS Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) participated in a property fair organized by the Sunway Group which was held on 13 and 14 April 2013 at the Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre, Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya.

The property fair attracted a good crowd due to the many types of properties developed by the Sunway Group being showcased.

MRT Corp opened a booth at the fair because the provision of good public transport infrastructure plays an important part and often acts as a catalyst for the development of new townships and housing areas.

Several of Sunway Group’s projects located along Persiaran Surian will be served by the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang MRT Line which is now under construction.

MRT Corp’s Director of Strategic Communications and Public Relations, Encik Amir Mahmood Razak, gave a presentation about the MRT project on both days of the property fair. The talk received keen interest from the audience as many were interested to know more about the project, specifically about the areas which it will serve.

The MRT Information Truck was also parked near the venue of the property fair. Visitors were able to see a 360 degree view of the entire 51km alignment of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line using the interactive touch-screen “hawkeye”.

Besides MRT Corp, Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd was the other public transport company which set up a booth at the property fair. The company showcased the Bus Rapid Transit project.
