Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd held an iftar (breaking of fast) with the media on 30 June 2015 at Aloft Hotel in KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur.

Apart from the act of breaking of fast together in the holy month of Ramadhan, the event, which has been organised every year, was also a way for MRT Corp to express appreciation to members of the media for their interest in and coverage on the Klang Valley MRT Project.

Over good food and taking advantage of the warm atmosphere, MRT Corp staff from the Strategic Communications and Public Relations, and the Stakeholder Relations and Land Management Divisions mingled with and got to know the members of the media better.

While waiting for the Maghrib azan which marked the breaking of fast for the day, MRT Corp Director of Strategic Communications and Public Relations Encik Mahmood Abdul Razak welcomed the guests.

He also provided some updates on both the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line and the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line.

The event was attended by more than 50 members of the print and broadcast media.
