DEPUTY Minister of Transportation Datuk Ab Aziz Kaprawi visited Kajang Station which consists of the station for the MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang (SBK) Line and KTM services on 13 June 2017.

The visit was to enable the deputy minister and his officials to check on the progress of the construction of the station in view of Phase Two operations of the SBK Line starting in July 2017.

Similar to the Sungai Buloh Station, the Kajang Station will have a common concourse where the customer service counters and ticketing machines for both the MRT and KTM services will be located. The platform for both MRT and KTM services will be accessed via the common concourse.

At the station, KTM Berhad General Manager Project Management Encik Ismail Said and General Manager Commuter Services Encik Khair Johari Ishak showed the delegation the facilities available at the station.

At the MRT section of the station, Mass Rapid Ransit Corporation Sdn Bhd Director of the Elevated Construction SBK Line Encik Kamarul Baharim Yusoff provided Datuk Ab Aziz Kaprawi with further information about the MRT Project.

Before ending his visit, Ab Aziz also checked the Multi Story Park and Ride facility which is located next to the station.
